I’m a little tardy revealing the restaurant featured in my most recent round of “Guess That Menu.”
It was the second time I’d asked readers to play my new game by looking at snippets clipped from a menu belonging to a long-gone Wichita restaurant and guessing where the menu came from. And for the second time, no one guessed correctly. (Though in fairness, I doubt I would have either, were I on the other side of the guessing game.)
The menu that I featured on Aug. 14 did not come from, as many readers guessed, Piccadilly Grill or Rowdy Joe’s. It also didn’t come from Palmer’s Grill, Willie C’s or Heroes — although the person who guessed Heroes got closer than anyone else…
