WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita is enduring one of its driest late‑summer stretches on record, according to new data from the National Weather Service.
The agency reported Monday that July and August combined have produced just three-quarters of an inch of rain at Eisenhower National Airport, making 2026 the second‑driest such period on record since 1888.
