WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – At least two Wichita area school districts reported temporary lockdowns following anonymous threats on Tuesday morning. Those lockdowns were lifted once investigations concluded that the threats weren’t credible.
The Goddard school district reported that at about 8:38 a.m., an anonymous caller reported a bomb threat to the front office of Goddard High School.
As a precaution, the district reported that the high school, Amelia Earhart Elementary School, Goddard Middle School and Goddard Academy “acted in accordance with established safety protocols – holding students safely in their classrooms, keeping exterior doors locked, while USD 265 Police and local law enforcement investigated the threat; the building and surrounding areas were checked.”…
