BENTON, Kan. — The man shown in a viral video kissing a toddler at a Benton restaurant has been cited for misdemeanor battery.
Benton Police Chief Kevin Kichler confirmed the details to 12 News on Friday. He said the investigation is complete and has been turned over to City Attorney Rob Lane, out of El Dorado, with Davis Manley & Lane. The next step will be for a first appearance in municipal court.
