Motorcyclist going at high rate of speed injured in crash near Andover, KHP says

A Butler County man remained at a Wichita hospital Saturday following a two-vehicle crash near Andover on Friday.

Rivers DeHoff, 18, was operating a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle along U.S. 54 just before 10 p.m. on Friday when, according to a crash report by the Kansas Highway Patrol, he “sideswiped” a Ford Bronco while traveling at a high rate of speed.

DeHoff was taken to Wesley Medical Center with suspected serious injuries, the report said. A hospital representative said Saturday afternoon that DeHoff was still at the facility. DeHoff was listed as a Douglass resident…
