WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Clearwater woman charged in her 15-month-old son’s death is ordered to undergo a second competency evaluation.
According to Sedgwick County Court documents, court proceedings for Shanna Whitton’s case have been suspended until COMCARE completes the evaluation.
Whitton is charged with first-degree murder, child abuse, aggravated child endangerment and aggravated arson in connection with the death of her son, Matthew Whitton.
