WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Cryptocurrency scams are on the rise in the Wichita area and across the state, but authorities say a new law is helping victims get their money back.
Sedgwick County District Attorney Marc Bennett said Wednesday that in the last month, there have been three incidents when scammers convinced people to put money into a crypto ATM and transfer it before they realized what was going on.
