In the nearly two weeks since the Wichita Fellowship Club announced that it would be auctioning off its 80-acre recreational area in Valley Center, where those in addiction recovery can gather without the pressure to drink, supporters of the space have been trying to figure out how to stop or at least delay the public sale.
On Sept. 5, Kathy Schlegel Deane created a Facebook group called the “101 Club brainstorming area” for what she describes as a place for open discussion about the future of the Jim James Memorial 101 Club.
