WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A Walmart in north Wichita is set to undergo a major remodel as part of the company’s “Store of the Future” initiative.
The Walmart at West 53rd Street and North Meridian Avenue is expected to undergo renovations in 2027 as part of the company’s plan to build or convert over 150 stores in the coming years.
The remodel will include expanded grocery pickup and delivery services, an updated pharmacy, a new Grab & Go section and expanded deli and produce areas.
