Kellogg project off to chaotic start with west Wichita traffic backed up 1 1/2 miles

Work on a Kellogg Freeway construction project in west Wichita that was announced to start on Monday instead began on Sunday, backing up traffic for a mile and a half and offering motorists a potential preview of the next two years.

Traffic on eastbound Kellogg was slowed to a bumper-to-bumper crawl from east of the I-235 interchange back to Ridge Road.
