A new Andover fruit smoothie and bowl business has been delayed after originally planning to open in early July.
The Fruit Theory, just down the road from Point Nine Eatery and Andover Middle and High School, is planning to serve fruit bowls, smoothies, pressed juices and more to the east Wichita suburb. But the opening has been pushed back after some hiccups with building permits.
“Once we had everything done and started calling to get the permits, we were told that we actually needed to go through an architect and have plans submitted for a plan review that the city has to approve,” the Fruit Theory’s owner, Montserrat Alvarado, told The Eagle via email…
