WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – It is another chilly morning across Kansas with wake-up temperatures in the 40s. However, later today as skies turn partly cloudy highs will climb into the lower 70s which is a few degrees above average for middle October.
Two weak systems moving across Kansas, one this morning and another one tonight, will produce isolated rain showers from time to time. However, the rain will be light with amounts generally less than a tenth of an inch and some won’t see any rain at all.
Stronger and gusty winds from the south will continue to bring warmer temperatures back to the state. Highs in the middle to upper 70s on Wednesday will be followed by upper 70s and lower 80s on Thursday…
