Waves of showers keep tracking throughout western Kansas. This persists into tonight. Some of this rainfall may be locally heavy.
The axis spread a little farther east on Monday closer to I-135. There may be a few showers around the Wichita Metro, but we may have to wait for rain to fill in this far east until Monday night into Tuesday.
Additional rainfall amounts will be higher over our western counties than it will be closer to Wichita and the southeast part of the state.
There is a front currently sitting across Kansas. Temperatures overnight will fall to the 50s. There will be some upper 40s to the northwest and spots near 60 degrees to the southeast.
Highs on Monday will range from the comfy 60s in the extreme northwest to the 70s around Wichita.
Temp may be able to dip to the 30s over the northwest Tuesday morning. Otherwise, highs in the 60s and 70s will be common the rest of the workweek. Clouds will break on Wednesday and Thursday, building back by Friday.
A storm system late in the week and early next weekend could bring more rain to the region. Clouds may linger with the rain moving away just in time for trick-or-treaters next Saturday.
