Storm Track 3 Forecast: Strong storms arrive Monday

Patchy drizzle and light rainfall have been the main story for the last two days. Damp conditions with overcast skies have prevailed for our Halloween and will continue to be the trend this evening.

For those heading out to trick or treat this evening, patchy drizzle will be possible. Moisture should be light enough to not impact any Halloween plans, but could have you adding a raincoat to your costume.

We dry out for the daytime on Sunday, but clouds remain locked in place overhead. Highs will range from the 60s to the 70s with winds picking up out of the south.

Our next round of showers and storms arrives late Sunday into Monday. Storms arrive along the Colorado state line late Sunday night and track east through the morning.

A Slight Risk for severe weather is already in place for a large part of central Kansas on Monday. All forms of severe weather will be possible.

Scattered showers continue into Tuesday with strong winds and season temperatures for Election Day. Temperatures settle into the mid-60s for the rest of the workweek with conditions becoming sunny.
