WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Wichita Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting in northeast Wichita. Officers were called to a home after 2 a.m. near 15th and North Poplar Avenue. Sedgwick county dispatchers confirm first responders found two people who had been shot. One person died, while another person was taken to an area hospital with critical injuries.
