At Wednesday’s weekly meeting, the Sedgwick County Commission will look at property taxes. Commission Chair Ryan Baty tells KNSS News the county clerk will make a presentation on Homestead tax Refunds. Baty says this is about property tax refunds for seniors and disabled veterans. Soon the County Commission will begin it annual budget-writing process. Baty tells KNSS News it can be challenging to pay the county’s bills, while holding down taxes.
