WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Authorities say sheriff’s deputy fatally shot a suspect early Thursday morning following a brief chase and a home invasion in Wichita. It started around 10:30 Wednesday night when Wichita police responded to a domestic violence call in the 100 block of South Ridge Road. Department spokesperson Andrew Ford said that when officer arrived, they learned the suspect stole a vehicle at knifepoint from his roommate.
