Wichita State University announced Thursday that it has rejected the only bid that was submitted for the first phases of a project to renovate the former Cessna Stadium. WSU Athletic Director Kevin Saal said the university will re-advertise for a construction manager to manage a more competitive bid process. He said the university still plans to host the state high school track and field meet in May.
