As the former president of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and the former executive director of the Milwaukee Public Schools Foundation, Inc., Dr. Terrell’s leadership has been instrumental in shaping educational policies and practices across the country. Her background also includes roles as the director of innovation and director of early childhood education for the Milwaukee Public Schools district.
