WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A water main break closed a small stretch of West Maple on Wednesday. It has since been opened.
Sedgwick County dispatchers say Maple was closed between Edwards and St. Paul.
The road closure was about two blocks west of Maple and Meridian. Drivers on Maple had to detour to other roads to get to their destination.

The City of Wichita says crews had to temporarily reroute traffic to shut the water off and begin the repair. The water was turned off around 12:30 p.m. It turned on around 4:30 p.m.
