A Kansas company has been asked by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals to stop using designs featuring animals. PETA sent a letter outlining its request to Wichita-based Chance Rides, the largest manufacturer of amusement park rides in the US. Chance Rides is well-known for making animals for carousels. PETA wants Chance Rides to replace animals with vehicles like cars or airplanes or with whimsical designs like rainbows or shooting stars.
