Wichita police continue to investigate high speed crash

Wichita police are continuing their investigation of a late-night high-speed crash that happened late Tuesday at an east side intersection. Police officer Kris Gupilan said a Sedgwick County deputy was on a traffic stop around 11:20 p.m. at 13th and Rock Road, when he saw a red Ford Mustang going south at high speed. A Wichita officer heard the deputy’s report to dispatchers, and he clocked the Mustang’s speed at 106 miles an hour.
