While we were watching an absolutely amazing sunset in Wichita, a severe thunderstorm was warming up to produce a tornado in central Arkansas. At the same time, we are watching potential snow in the Great Plains on Super Sunday…..AND…….if that wasn’t enough, I want to tell you the story of an instrumented rocket being launched into an EF-4 tornado, the rocket surviving, it and its data being recovered, and the data being published in a peer-reviewed journal!
