Alcohol suspected factor in SW Wichita crash that injured 3

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Wichita police say they believe alcohol is a factor in a crash that injured three people Saturday.

The call came in shortly before 1:40 p.m. near the intersection of MacArthur and Seneca. WPD said officers were dispatched to a head-on injury accident.

When they arrived, WPD said initially there were three people injured, one with minor injuries and two with serious injuries.

Once EMS arrived and began working with the patients, one was upgraded to critical injuries. All three were transported to a hospital.

WPD said they suspect the potential of alcohol being a factor in the crash.
