An inmate at the Sedgwick County jail has died after being taken to a hospital for chronic medical issues. The Sheriff’s Office said a 36-year-old man was taken to a hospital on January 29th and he died Sunday. He had been evaluated by the Detention Facility Medical Clinic a number of times over the past three years and he had been hospitalized 25 times since his arrest.
