HumanKind president, CEO stepping down

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — HumanKind president and CEO LaTasha St. Arnault announced Friday she is stepping down from her position.

St. Arnault said in a statement she is stepping down on June 1 to prioritize her role as a mother and pursue other professional opportunities.

Everything has a season and a time for every purposeful action,” the statement reads in part. “It’s time for a change in my career, for my family, and for the organization.”

Domestic violence incident leads to standoff

The statement says HumanKind is currently working on a national search for someone to fill the position, and the new president and CEO will assume the responsibilities on June 1. St. Arnault said she is “deeply committed” to a seamless transition, and will continue to be at “the forefront to keep our momentum going as HumanKind moves forward.”

St. Arnault has been in her position since 2018, according to HumanKind’s website. She has worked in the nonprofit space for 17 years.
