WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – The Lawrence Police Department said it seized more than 33 pounds of methamphetamines and more than a pound of cocaine with help from its K9, Shadow. On Wednesday night, Shadow, a dual-purpose patrol dog, and his handler were engaged in a routine security sweep at a local transportation facility when Shadow indicated the presence of illegal drugs in a piece of luggage.
