WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – An investigation is underway after a man was shot in the head and critically injured early Thursday morning, Wichita police say. Wichita Police Senior Public Information Officer Andrew Ford says at 4:38 a.m. Thursday, officers were dispatched to the report of a shooting victim who had walked into a local hospital for treatment.
