Wichita Fire crews battled a fire in south Wichita Saturday morning.
The blaze was reported around 2:45 a.m., in the 1200 block of S. Market. When firefighters arrived, fire was visible from the three-story building, which had been boarded up.
Crews located a person inside the building, who was pronounced dead at the scene. However, fire officials say the death appears to be unrelated to the fire.
