Two hospitalized after motorcycle crash in Park City

PARK CITY, Kan. (KSNW) – Two people were sent to the hospital after a motorcycle crash in Park City on Sunday.

It happened at 11:15 a.m. near the intersection of Interstate 135 and 101st Street.

Pedestrian killed in I-135 crash south of Newton

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, an Indiana Challenger Motorcycle pulling a small fiberglass trailer was southbound on I-135 when its rear tire blew, causing the driver to lose control. Both the driver and the passenger were thrown from the motorcycle.

The driver, a 49-year-old man from Oklahoma, received minor injuries, and the passenger, a 46-year-old woman from Montana, received serious injuries.

Both were taken to a Wichita hospital.
