One dead after hit-and-run in west Wichita Sunday morning

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – One man is dead after a hit-and-run crash early Sunday morning in west Wichita.

According to the Wichita Police Department, it happened just after 2 a.m. in the 2400 block of N. Hoover. This is near the intersection of 23rd Street and Hoover Road.

Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive man. WPD says he was riding an electric bicycle north on Hoover when he was struck by an unknown vehicle that then continued driving north.
