WICHITA, Kan. (KAKE) – Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was recovered from a neighborhood pond in west Wichita Thursday morning. Crews responded at around 9:15 a.m. to the report of a submersion in at Taft and Stoney Point, which is in a neighborhood southwest of Maple and Maize Road. They arrived to find the man in the water.
