21st Street closed in north Wichita after crews damage sewer line

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A damaged sewer main has closed 21st Street in both directions from Broadway to Mosley.

The City of Wichita says a construction crew damaged a 36-inch sewer main underneath the road, forcing the city to shut it down while crews work to clean and assess the damage to determine what repairs must be made. Access to local businesses is being maintained.

You can use Broadway or Mosley to reach 21st Street, utilizing either 17th or 13th streets. The city believes the street will be closed for the rest of the week.
