Dog recovering with foster family after being shot, having leg amputated

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A dog named Rhodes is recovering with a foster family after being shot and having her wounded leg amputated. The Kansas Humane Society said Rhodes couldn’t put any weight on the injured front leg due to the pain. Two surgeons performed the necessary surgery to remove that leg and save the dog’s life. It’s unknown who shot her.
