KHS hosting free microchip and vaccine clinic

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Kansas Humane Society is hosting a free vaccine and microchip clinic this month.

The clinic will be on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Orchard Recreation Center, 4808 W. 9th St. N.

The following services will be offered:

  • Microchips
  • Rabies vaccine for cats and dogs
  • Bordetella vaccine for dogs
  • DHPP vaccine for dogs (distemper parvo)
  • FVRCP vaccine for cats (panleukopenia & more)

The clinic is first come, first serve to the first 200 animals.

All dogs must be on a leash, and all cats must be in carriers. Kittens must be at least six weeks old, and puppies must be at least two months old. Please have one handler per pet.

This event is also being put on by the City of Wichita, COX Communications, and PetCo Love.
