The Kansas Humane Society says its Clear The Shelters adoptions include spay/neuter surgery, microchips, and age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoptions are first come, first served, and no appointment is needed.

“We’re going to be having really long lines and a lot of visits,” Kansas Humane Society’s Director of Communications Jordan Bani-Younes said. “We won’t have time to do dog-to-dog introductions. But if you want to bring your dog by tomorrow or so and do the dog-to-dog beforehand, you can definitely do that. Or you can just adopt tomorrow.”
