WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The Sedgwick County Zoo will be closed Friday, Sept. 6, and Saturday, Sept. 7, to prepare for Zoobilee.
The zoo’s largest fundraiser runs Saturday from 6 p.m. to midnight. Tickets for the event are $200 and are still available by clicking here. The event will be held rain or shine, and tickets are not r efundable.
The event will feature food from 60 local establishments, an open bar, a beer garden, music, and an auction featuring jewelry, art, spa packages, and vacations.

The zoo will reopen on Sunday at noon.
