WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A shooting in Oaklawn hospitalized one person on Friday.
The call came in shortly before 3:30 p.m. from the 3200 block of E. MacArthur Rd, near the intersection of MacArthur Rd and Southeast Blvd. It was at the Englewood Mobile Home Park.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said when officers arrived, they found a man, 36, with multiple gunshot wounds. EMS transported him to a local hospital.
Another man, 32, was taken into custody. The SCSO said the victim and suspect lived together at one time, but it’s unclear if they were currently living together.
An investigation is ongoing.
