Charges have been filed against a man who was arrested with a handgun at a Derby elementary school in 2022. During a hearing Monday in Sedgwick County District Court, 37-year-old Billy Jack Daniels of Latham was charged with a misdemeanor of criminal use of weapons and a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.
