WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle Friday. It happened around 6 a.m. in the 4500 block of S. Broadway.
When Wichita police arrived, they found a 26-year-old man who had been struck while walking. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Police said the vehicle’s driver returned to the scene and is cooperating in the investigation. No word on whether any charges will be filed.
