119th and MacArthur becoming a 4-way stop

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The intersection of 119th Street West and MacArthur will become a four-way stop. The conversion will happen on Wednesday.

New tag office will open in west Wichita

Sedgwick County Communications says the cost to convert the intersection is about $6,000, including signs, posts and flashing beacons. The county says approximately 8,000 vehicles pass through the intersection daily.

Five crashes have happened at the intersection in the past three years, and no fatalities have occurred.
