A notable Wichita personality has passed away. Mike Wolfberg, known to many as “Crazy Mike,” passed away Tuesday, at his home in Kansas City at the age of 70.
In a post on his facebook page his family said Mike had suffered from bipolar disorder which was diagnosed when he was 21.
For many years Mike was the subject of sightings around Wichita, a city that he called, “The Promised Land.”
Services are pending. The family askes only for donations be made to the National Institute of Mental Health to help others who are suffering with mental illness.
