The city of Wichita says it is cracking down on violators of water restrictions as water levels at Cheney Reservoir continue to fall. The city says so far, it has issued just over 300 warnings for violations of those restrictions. But a spokeswoman says while Wichita did a good job at first following the rules, people are starting to fall back into those old habits.
