Attorneys for former Marion police chief file motion to dismiss charges in raid

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Attorneys for former Marion Police Chief Gideon Cody argue the case should be dismissed.

Cody was charged last month with interfering with the judicial process after the raid on the Marion County Record in August 2023.

In court filings, Cody’s attorneys say the complaint lacks adequate factual notice supporting the crime as charged.
