SEDGWICK COUNTY -A Kansas woman convicted in the methadone death of her 2-year-old son is going to prison for the rest of her life. On Wednesday District Judge Jeffrey Goering sentenced 28-year-old Kimberly Compass to life in prison without the possibility of parole for 25 years, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s office.
