A Wichita man faces charges of attempted first-degree murder and kidnapping after allegedly shooting his wife outside an elementary school earlier this week. 46-year-old Vincent Solomon made an appearance in Sedgwick County Court yesterday morning while on a gurney as he recovers after being shot by a sheriff’s deputy during the incident. Solomon also faces charges of aggravated assault on a police officer and interference in the case.
