R-rated, full contact haunted house opens in downtown Wichita Falls

WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Spooky season is finally here, and what better way to get in the Halloween spirit than visiting the newly opened haunted house in downtown Wichita Falls?

Puncturing Ink Tattoos owner Brandon Bateman said he decided to open Tower of Terror when he realized there are not many haunted houses in the area around Halloween.

He chose the old L.O. Office Supply building off of Scott Avenue because of its sheer size, which allowed him to have a two-story haunted house full of jump scares, nightmares, and spooky surprises around every corner.

He said that those brave enough to check it out will experience something they can’t find anywhere else in town.

“You’re going to get lost. It’s, like, backwards. We’re going to try to separate you. There’s a lot of bone-chilling experiences, as last night was our grand opening, and it was by far more or ‘lit’ as people like to say,” Bateman said.

Bateman does want to remind you, though, that his haunted house is rated ‘R’ and is full contact. Visitors must sign a waiver before entering the Tower of Terror .
