WICHITA FALLS ( KFDX/KJTL ) — Once upon a time, Andrew Morrow was just the manager of Margie’s Bakery and an actor with the Wichita Theatre. Just over a year ago, he made a decision that made him much more than that.
“I am known for going all out on Halloween, and one year, I really wanted to be The Grinch really bad,” Morrow said.
And so, he did. He saved up the money for the suit, prosthetics, and the rest of the makeup; and on Halloween of 2023, The Grinch was born. It wasn’t until Christmas of that year that Morrow’s Grinch started getting popular.
“So, Santa has been showing up here at Margie’s every year for over 30 years for free to come get pictures and free cookies and stuff like that,” Morrow said. “And Michael was very supportive. He was like, how about we do a Grinch day?”

After the first meet and greet, Morrow started posting on TikTok , eventually reaching over half a million followers on the platform. His rise only confirmed what Margie’s owner, Michael Gerstner, already knew about Morrow.
