Storm Track 3 Forecast: Christmas morning fog, spotty rain possible late week

Clouds have broken up in portions of Kansas for Christmas Eve.  Santa has already started his journey around the world.  Once he gets to Kansas, he will fight through developing fog tonight so Rudolf’s nose will be shining bright.

Clouds will be stubborn to budge on Christmas.  This will cost us a few degrees off our afternoon high from the 40s to the 50s.

The next storm system is on deck starting Christmas night.  Areas of drizzle will be possible with a few rain showers thrown in through Thursday.  Most places will stay dry.

Temperatures will be mild, so ice is not expected.  Another piece of energy passing through on Friday could spark more drizzle and rain showers however anything that forms will be spotty and light.
