The thickest fog will be over Central Kansas through Christmas morning with visibility in spots below a quarter of a mile. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through midday Wednesday.
Temps will bottom out in the upper 20s to the lower 30s. Please watch for any slick spots especially on elevated surfaces late tonight and Christmas morning.
Clouds will be stubborn to budge on Christmas. This will cost us a few degrees off our afternoon high from the 40s to the 50s.
The next storm system is on deck starting Christmas night. Areas of drizzle will be possible with a few rain showers thrown in through Thursday. Most places will stay dry.
Temperatures will be mild, so ice is not expected. Another piece of energy passing through on Friday could spark more drizzle and rain showers however anything that forms will be spotty and light.
