WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – The Kansas Humane Society stopped by on Thursday during KSN’s Pet Project to introduce us to a sweet dog.
Ellie Mae, who is 1 year old and weighs 32 pounds, came to KHS as a stray.
“She’s very, very sweet. She does know ‘sit,’ she knows ‘shake.’ She does really, really well in the car. She hasn’t barked with me once. She has shown some signs of house training, so that’s really good on her part,” said Jordan Bani-Younes, the communications director at KHS.
Bani-Younes also describes Ellie Mae as a sweetheart who loves people and cuddling and considers herself a lapdog.
